How do I choose a frame?

I’m a big fan of simple framing, like this fresh white mat and white wood frame. It’s classic and allows the colours to pop. Keep it simple. You could try going matless in a boxed frame too for a contemporary look.

Choose your frame from the colours in your artwork or try a simple oak or ash frame, they always add a natural warmth and a classic timeless feel.

Framing shouldn’t overpower your artwork, but quietly compliment it. Ask your framer to show you a few options. Ask for a quote and remember you have to live with it, so choose something you love.

Works on paper need to be under glass and you can choose UV and museum grade glass to protect special work. Larger works can be framed under top quality acrylic. Ask your framer about conservation quality matting. Image: Art Rooms app

How do I hang my artwork?

Choose a spot where you will be able to enjoy your artwork regularly. Give it breathing space.

Aim to hang your artwork so the middle of the work sits about 150cm from the floor, that’s your optimal eye level for viewing. Not too high, not too low, just right…

Allow your artwork to breathe, giving it lots of white space.

Remember to hang works on paper away from harsh, direct sunlight or fluctuating temperatures.

Use the correct weight hooks and try to hang the work from the 2 D-rings on the back and not the string or wire. It will be more stable this way. You’ll need to measure the distance from the floor and the distance between the D-rings. Use a spirit level to make sure your hooks are aligned. Image: Art Rooms app

Can I return my print?

Due to the fragile nature of prints, cost and the time it takes to process an individual print to order so you receive a beautiful product, RETURNS ARE NOT POSSIBLE, (unless you receive a faulty or damaged print and provide photo evidence.)

** Please take the time to CHOOSE YOUR PRINT VERY CAREFULLY and make sure to measure your space and allow a budget for framing.

How are prints sent?

Your print will be carefully rolled and sent in a secure solid mailing tube. I suggest you handle it carefully with gloves or clean hands or take it directly to your local framer when you’re ready to frame it.

When can I expect my print to arrive?

Prints are made to order so please allow up to 14 days for delivery, it will be worth the wait. Bit longer for international transit. Your patience is appreciated.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is free in Australia for all artwork and prints. International orders will incur a shipping fee according to weight.
